UN against mines
FN-förbundet har utlyst en designtävling för Sveriges gymnasieskolor om upphörandet av minor i världen. 700 bidrag från ett femtiotal skolor sändes in till en jury. De vinnande bidragen 2009 visas i kafeterian.
FN-klubben har möte torsdagar kl 15.00 i FN-rummet.
FN dagen den 24 oktober
Skolan firade traditionsenligt FN-dagen tillsammans med elever och föräldrar med sång, dansuppvisningar och god mat från världens alla länder. 
Skolan stödjer FN tanken och arbetet för alla människors lika värde oavsett etnisk bakgrund. Skolan arbetar aktivt med olika FN projekt för att synliggöra det internationella arbetet och värderingar som FN genomför och står för. Skolan fokuserar på områden inom mänskliga rättigheter och demokrati samt miljöarbetet och hållbar utveckling. Skolan undervisar i olika FN-anknutna projekt. Se vidare under aktuellt
Skolan deltar i WCPRC
The World’s Children’s Prize for the Rights of the Child (WCPRC) vilar på FN:s barnkonvention, WCPRC stärker barns och ungdomars röster, främjar deras humanitära växt som global citizens (världsmedborgare) och hjälper dem att kräva respekt för barnets rättigheter.
Den svenska ideella föreningen Barnens Värld har instiftat The World´s Children´s Prize for the Rights of the Child. Barnens Värld är ett kommunikationsprojekt för globalt kompisskap, demokratikunskap och barnets rättigheter, som startades under FN:s Barnår 1979.
Barnens Värld stöds av Sida. Bland medlemmarna finns Rädda Barnen och Svenska Naturskyddsföreningen.
Barnens Värld ger ut tidningen Globen och Childrensworld.org, samt delar ut The World´s Children´s Prize for the Rights of the Child. Prisnumret trycks även på engelska, spanska, portugisiska, franska, thai, tamil, viet och hindi. Med sina över 7 miljoner läsare är Globens prisnummer Sveriges mest lästa tidning.
52 167 skolor med drygt 23 miljoner elever i 99 länder står, som Global Friend-skolor.

Math help unique project
The school's maths teachers are in contact with the students during evenings and weekends, helping them with math questions.
Help and support is available by phone, text message (SMS) or email. This way students can always get help when getting stuck at a problem, enabling them to move forward.

Recreation room
The schools new recration room has now been officially opened by the students. This room is appriciated by the students, they can play billiards, air hockey, Nintendo Wii and relax in the sofas.
The school attends World Childrens Prize Cermony
Students and teachers are representing the school in Stockholm City Hall, where Graca Machel and Nelson Mandela will awarded with the World Childrens Prize, on april 26 in the presence of Queen Silvia.

The Museum of Ethnography
The school is working with the Museum of Ethnography in Stockholm to enhance learing about different cultures development. The museums educators are specialists in their fields contribute to the development of the schools knowledge and at the same time makes the education interesting and real.
