THE GEOGRAPHICAL CHALLANGE
The final of the Geo Challenge has been carried out with all pupils as spectators. The game took place on two synchronized large screens where students competed to map in the right countries on time. The game was preceded by many exercises for all pupils during the SO-lessons to train their geographical knowledge.
Best student mapped all African countries in just over a minute. Class 7x eventually became winners of the contest and was rewarded with various prizes. Two students worked as commentators, together with the ICT- teacher.
Today there are many educational ICT tools available. The school would like to creatively integrate ICT in school activities. ICT offers great opportunities for learning and knowledge if you're curious, there is so much more than just word processing. The geography-game Geosense.net seems natural considering the schools international profile. The game is as fun as it is educational and is intended for all age groups.
